About Mt. Hood Hospice

Mt. Hood Hospice serves patients
in East Multnomah and North
Clackamas counties, the east
metropolitan area of Portland,
Oregon, from our offices in
Sandy. Since our founding in
1980 we have served thousands
of patients in Portland, Gresham,
Sandy and Mt. Hood communitites.

Mt. Hood Hospice was the first free-standing hospice in Oregon to be granted
Medicare certification in 1983. We are also Medicaid certified, and our services
are covered by most insurance providers. In every case, hospice care is provided
without cost to the patient and his or her family.

We are a founding member of the Oregon Hospice Association and a member of the
National Hospice and Palliative Care Association.
